Korean BBQ Restaurant in London
Objective: Facebook Page & Instagram Profile Management + Adverting Campaigns & Content Creation
Project Task
The issue this client faced was achieving cost effective publicity, which enhanced exposure to their store in the North West London area. The restaurant attracted good local interest, which generated amazing revenue, however, their need to reach people further away was a must to increase overall revenue.
Initially we sat down and discussed their current situation and identified where they would want to get to within 3 months, 6 months and a year. The challenge for me was would my services achieve that for them and how fast would they like results!
Project Solution
Before we start working with any new client we always produce a free audit of the client's Facebook Page, Instagram Profile and Website. The audit will give an in-depth insight into how the current online platforms are performing. Also to show them what they are doing well and what will need improving and what isn't working for them.
This client had been using a popular printed London based magazine to advertise which was extremely expensive and could not give them sufficient data on market reach. It was clear, from a social media marketing perspective, that Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns were the best way for us to reach the audience they were looking to bring in. The advertising campaigns were targeted at people who lived within 2 miles from the restaurant's location who are already interested in restaurants.
For added organic reach we would post 5-6 times per week on Facebook and Instagram. This helps to increase impressions and reach with existing and potential customers while achieving another important aspect was is to build a personality online. Establishing loyalty and trust, which in turn encourages repeat visits, is an essential element of social media. My contribution also included content creation of their restaurant and some of my photography is showcased below. I would shoot a mixture of photos to be able to show all aspects of the restaurant on social media (not just the food).
My clients benefit from a monthly report which records all the results generated by individual advertising campaigns enabling a quick and easy overview of how successful each campaign is. With this client I was able to review the performance and work on ways to improve certain elements for the next campaign which, in turn, maximised our advertising budget.
Within a 10 months of social media marketing and management we increased their revenue to six figures per month. After this period they appreciated how valuable the role of a social media marketing manager is and employed a full time person and we mutually ended the contract.
